Champions Weekend Day 2 features the Comer Group International Irish St Leger, Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes, Moyglare Stud Stakes, Moyglare Jewels Blandford Stakes and Derrinstown Stud Flying Five, together with the Tattersalls Super Auction Sales Stakes and two Premier EBF Handicaps. The pinnacle of the Irish Flat Racing Season, and the Irish Racing Year, offers you the chance to enjoy the last classic race of the season in Ireland. Fabulous racing, glamorous fashion, fantastic food and music make Irish Champions Weekend the best social event of the year. With over €4.5m in Prize money over two fabulous days this is the richest weekend in the racing calendar.

In the Champions Terrace we offer a fabulous 3 course lunch, with a few extras such as afternoon tea and our racing panel before racing to hopefully help you pick a few winners. All other pre-booked dining options are already sold out but you can still enjoy quality food from our Bistro Restaurant and also our Grand Hall and Food Village.

Please note that you must purchase your tickets before travel and 3 days before travel date. Please PRINT your e-tickets which will be scanned on entry by the driver and at the racecourse to gain admission.

Coaches depart from Burgh Quay at different times on each race day, usually 2 hours before the first race, please check the information accompanying your ticket when you purchase.
Coaches depart the Curragh Racecourse from the Coach Park for the return journey 1 hour after the last race.

By Car

Our GPS Co-ordinates are: 53.1653° N, 6.8453° W - Take Exit 12 off the N7. When you arrive, you'll find plenty of free car parking in designated areas as you exit to the Curragh Roundabout.


By Train

Mainline trains from Heuston Station (Dublin), Waterford, Cork, Limerick and Galway to Kildare Town. The Curragh operate a FREE shuttle service to and from Kildare station for all race meetings.

All public car parking at The Curragh is Free. Hospitality Guests should plan to arrive at least 1 hour before the start of the first race. On arrival please go directly to the HOSPITALITY DESK, located near the admission turnstiles, where one of our helpful team will check you in and escort you to your selected restaurant. You may require a wristband to enter and re-enter the hospitalty area, if required the staff in the restaurant will provide these for you. Lunch service commences 30 minutes before the first race and concludes after the 4th race on each day. The table you have booked is your's for the day so please do wander around at your leisure and soak up the racing atmosphere.
Our menus have been carefully selected to suit most guest requirements but we do realise that some guests may require different meals. If you have a food allergy or require a special dish please do ask your server BEFORE ordering from any menu. Allergy information points are located near the cash desk in each hospitality location. All of our Hospitality areas have enhanced guest facilities and each location has Racing TV, Tote Betting Screens and an in house bar with waiter service. Your betting requirements are covered by mobile TOTE staff who will be in attendance throughout the afternoon, if you are unsure of any bet type please ask them.
There is no strict dress code at The Curragh, ties and hats are by no means necessary but Sportswear and offensive slogans on clothing will, of course, not be tolerated in hospitality areas. On the Classic race days the emphasis is definately more "glam" and guests do tend to dress up for the occasion. On any given race day you cannot go wrong with smart casual, racing is a long day out so please do dress how you are most comfortable and of course for the weather.
