Food and Beverage
During the 2017 season we will be undergoing a major redevelopment of our grandstand to make way for our super new facilities due to open in 2018. The good news is that racing still takes place and we will have high quality restaurant facilities in marquees as well as bars and food vendors located throughout the racecourse enclosure including:
- Marquee Restaurants
- O’Briens Champagne and Wine Bar
- Tote Hall
Our advice is to always dress for the weather, the Curragh is a plain and can get windy even if the weather is less severe locally. Although there is no strict dress code, we would appreciate appropriate attire is worn at all times, no sportswear or t shirts please. Smart casual attire is requested for anyone with access to reserved or hospitality areas or owners and trainers lounges. Some great ideas on what to wear and appropriate clothing can be found here.
We welcome families to the racecourse and do all we can to make the day as special as possible for them. On certain race days we also have dedicated kidz zones in operation with lots of shows, fun and games for the younger guests.
- Under 16s NO CHARGE accompanied by an adult
- Special Family admission tickets at reduced rates
- Children’s Playground
- Baby Change Toilets located beside the Champagne bar
- Picnic Area
Our facilities for those with Special Needs include:
- Raised viewing platform located by the side of the track
- Wheelchair friendly toilets located beside Champagne Bar
- Access to the Tote Hall
The press centre is located beside the Weigh Room in the relocated weigh room close to the pre parade ring. All Press are more than welcome to access the facilities which include ISDN and wifi facilities. If you require accreditation for any of our meetings, or for all media related matters, please contact Evan Arkwright, Commercial Manager
During our redevelopment we offer a new Season Ticket option for the regular race-goer. Starting at only € 100 for admission on all 18 days of the season this represents great value and is an excellent gift for any racing fan.
